But wait a minute; remember that in a job fair you will be pitted against so many others equally qualified and as eager to land that job. So you need to do something that will set you apart and give you that winning edge. Here are some tips that will help you ace the interview at the job fair.

The actual interview process in such fairs usually comes in three rounds. The first round is the screening interview. The idea here is to sell yourself as the ideal candidate. And you will have about 30 seconds to do this, in this half a minute you will have to tell the interviewer what you have studied, how well you’ve done, the limited experience you have had and exposure to a company in a related business. You should also indicate that you have researched the company and that you know you’d like to work there. The idea is to make the interviewer think that you could fit the bill.

The next progression is the mini interview, which should last between five and 10 minutes. This gives you slightly more time to convince your interviewer.

The third round is the final frontier. It could last anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes. This is your chance to seal the deal. While it is not necessarily the last stage in the company’s recruiting process, it is indeed the last stage at the job fair.
