Lean games - make learning easy, simple

If you said games are playful, and are adventures kids indulge in, check if it was a slip of the tongue! Organisations have recognised that games are not merely pastimes, and can be serious. Organisations today, are keen on extracting the best quality output from their work force. This is why we find training sessions and skill-upgradation workshops becoming a regular part of the office regime.

These come along with the instructions and benefits of implementing them in organisations.

Here are some factors you need to look into, while organising lean game sessions, to obtain maximum benefits within the given time frame and resources available:

• Time period required to play each game---This helps you decide which game to choose for a particular session. This depends mainly on the time available.

• Instruction---It is imperative to follow the instructions that accompany the game, since these are framed with the implementation of a particular theory or concept in mind.

• The number of participants required---This is where teamwork gains prominence and you could bring about a balance between the number of individuals who can play the game and the number of members you would want in a team. Since these games are played in groups, they promote teamwork in a major way. Besides this, they also egg the players to look into factors like time management, logical and sequential thinking, following orders and practising an organised way of work. Lean Games can be implemented in training sessions, meetings, teamwork sessions, and workshops and even in day-to-day working sessions. With so many benefits to accrue in a fun-filled light environment, they are definitely a feasible and favoured form of learning and implementing success!
