The North East's cane furniture, bamboo artefacts and lifestyle items charm with their intricate workmanship and perfect finish. Showcased also are Assam's famous `woven' bamboo sofa sets, coffee tables, moorhas, side tables and so on.
The cane furniture also comes in the more `rustic' looking avataar of exposed cane sofa sets with attractive straight lines. Lovely ethereal looking cane and bamboo screens from Tripura and bamboo `chiks' are the other typical products of the North East on display.
