Bhajan festival

THE INTEGRATED Academy of Performing Arts will organise 50 Namasankeerthanams at various places in the city to commemorate the Peetarohana Swarna Jayanthi of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi of the Kanchi Math.

The Namasankeerthanam series will be inaugurated on March 29, at 6 p.m., at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha.

Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi will be present on the occasion and distribute cash awards to old bhagavathas, on behalf of Bhagavatha Seva Trust.

A four-day bhajanotsavam will be held at the Krishna Gana Sabha from March 28 (today) to March 31.
