SRI BHASKARACHARYA Bhakta Samajam is performing Sri Chakra Poorna Maha Meru Pratishta and Maha Kumbabhishekam of Bhaskaracharya
Memorial on June 30, at 10.37 a.m., at Bhaskararajapuram, Tiruvalankadu P.O., Mayiladuthrai RMS, Tiruvidaimarudur, Thanjavur - 609 810. Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Ekadina Laksharchana will also be performed the same day. Festivities will start on June 28 at 7 a.m. with Ganapathi Homam.
A Sanskrit scholar of merit, Bhaskaracharya's works are highly extolled for their scholastic and research excellence, vastness and depth of knowledge, richness of intellectual acumen laced with spiritual experience. In his recognition, the Samajam is establishing a Pujyasri Bhaskaracharya Memorial Hall and Meru Mandapam that are under construction.
The estimated cost of construction is Rs. 15 lakhs. Contributions are invited for the successful completion of the project within the stipulated time. Donations may be sent in the form of cheque/DD drawn in favour of Pujyasri Bhaskaracharya Memorial Foundation payable at Chennai to New No. 20 (Old No 43), Babu Rajendra Prasad Street, West Mambalam, Chennai.
Contributions will be exempt u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act. The names of contributors of Rs. 10,000 or more will be engraved on the stone.
