    Big B stable, tests normal: Lilavati doctors

    Mumbai (PTI): Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, who is undergoing treatment for abdominal pain at Lilavati hospital, is in a stable condition and the tests conducted on him do not suggest any abnormality, doctors attending on him said on Sunday.

    Bachchan on Saturday underwent a blood investigation and CT scan of the abdomen.

    "Amitabh Bachchan had a restful night and doctors attending on him are pleased with his recovery. The tests do not suggest any abnormality. Under the circumstances medicines have worked and within a few days he should go home," Dr Narendra Trivedi, Vice President of Lilavati hospital said.

    Earlier in the morning, the actor's son Abhishek came to the hospital and was informed by a team of doctors about the line of treatment and the medication being given to his ailing father.
