Can you list the advantages of this group over computer science, and in what way is it different from the latter. What can I do after my graduation? What are the necessary requirements to pursue a postgraduate degree in IIT?

Both the options, ECE and computer science in engineering are good. You need to decide and choose the option most convenient and suitable to your interest.

The general eligibility criterion for a postgraduate course in IIT will be based on the GATE percentile (where applicable) and the performance in a test and/or an interview to be conducted at the institute.

Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.)/M.Sc. degree or equivalent in appropriate branches and a high GATE score are eligible to apply for various programmes in M.Tech.
