Major initiatives for the training of rural managers have been
taken up by premier institutes such as the Indian Institute of
Rural Management at Anand in Gujarat and the Indian Institute of
Rural Management in Jaipur. Other institutions conducting courses
in rural management andrelated areas of rural development are as

There are not many institutes that offer a course in technical
writingper se. For you to improve your writing skills, you can
join anyinstitute that offers a course in creative writing.
Alternatively, youcan buy books that help you develop your skills
in written English. TheIndira Gandhi National Open University
(IGNOU), offers a CreativeWriting Course both in Hindi and
English.
A good foundation inscience/ technology and a specialisation - be
it engineering, business orone of the sciences is essential for
any technical writer. You will haveto keep track of the latest
technological developments. Training andexperience in the latest
software would also improve your job prospects.
