I am presently doing my B.Tech inprinting technology and want to know the job opportunities open for me?

Printing technology involves the design and operation of machines forprinting on different surfaces.

As a printing technologist, you can find jobs with the print media, the various printing presses, advertisingagencies, machine manufacturers, and in packaging industries.

You can also set-up your own printing press.

I am 3rd year B.Tech (agriculture) student. I would be obliged if youcan specify job opportunities open for me and also any computer coursesthat will be beneficial for me in future.

As an agricultural engineer you can work for various government agenciessuch as the irrigation department, the agriculture department, the FoodCorporation of India,

National Dairy Development Board, nationalisedbanks or other financial institutions offering finance to theagriculture sector and agriculture universities and colleges.

In the private sector, employment opportunities exist with companies manufacturing agriculture implements and machinery, and NGOs.

There is no computer course currently available that will specifically complement your degree in agricultural engineering.

Instead, you could consider doing a basic course in computers. For more information, youcan contact your local institute.

They may also help you choose andcombine courses in accordance with your coursework.

I am doing my final year M.B.B.S and interested in doing my P.G. inpsychiatry from NIMHANS. I would like to know what the eligibilitycriterion is and the website of the institute.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS)offers a postgraduate diploma and doctoral courses in psychiatry.

The eligibility criterion to apply for these courses is an MBBS degreecoupled with an year's compulsory rotating internship.

The basic criterion for entry into biotechnology or microbiology at the graduate level is have a background in sciences at the intermediate or plus two level. Organic chemists at all levels are employed by pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, consumer products, petroleum, and other similar industries.

Research and development is the primary opportunity in the field. It would be advisable for you to consider pursuing a research degree so that you have better employment opportunities.

The prerequisite to work as a call centre executive is a graduate degree, excellent communication skills and good command over English.

I hold a postgraduate degree in ecology and environment from the

Other employment options for environmental engineers would be with private as well as government agencies, private industry, mining, chemical and oil companies, as well as NGOs In the government too, one can aspire to join the

Indian Forest Service. IFS officers are responsible for protection of the country's forests and wildlife. If you are an environment activist, most job openings exist with Non Government

Organisations, (NGOs) engaged in promoting environment conservation and awareness.

Entrepreneurial openings exist in the field of eco tourism.
