I am going to attend an airline interview, what should I be wearing and when I enter the room how do I greet the interview panel?
SIDDHARTH
Gwalior
It would be preferable to attend the interview in formal attire. Resist the temptation to dress casually, as most airlines look for the professional approach.
You should also wear a tie if you can. Before you enter the room take a deep breath and calm yourself.
Don't poke your head around the door timidly to see if they are ready, as this shows your lack of confidence. You do not want to give the impression that you are apologising for disturbing the interviewer.
Walk over to the chair, shake hands only if the interviewer offers his/her hand and sit down. (Candidates should not normally initiate the handshake but should be ready to respond.) Greet the panel members in general and this way you will not offend anyone.
