A CD for every occasion
It is an exhibition with a difference. Ten thousand computer CDs and VCDs are on sale at the Jayam Hall till May 2. They cover entertainment as well as education for all ages. If you are wondering what to do with the children this summer there are CDs on nursery rhymes, Panchatantra, stories of Tenali Raman, Birbal and other mythological stories of Hanuman, Ganesha, Krishna, the Bible, etc. A special attraction is the devotional Kanda Shasti Kavasam composed by Devaraya Swamigal. The compositions are rendered by Sainthavil and the CD ROM also explains the meaning of the Kavasam in both Hindi and English. For the older children there is a range of informative products on space, science and technology, the human body and the solar system among others. Mathematics, the English language, geography and history also feature in the collection. There is an entire section devoted to encyclopaedia with CDs from Encarta, Webster's and Britannica.
Homedesign CDs, management CDs, horoscopes and CDs for various competitive exams like the AIEEE, TNPCEE, UPSC, GRE, GMAT, etc are also available. There is a CD to interest every age and taste and there are attractive discounts being offered on them.
