Cotton-silk is cool

Kumaran Silks introduces its second edition of Amritavarshini saris

Kumaran Silks, which has pioneered many innovations in silk saris over the years, has introduced the second edition of its Amritavarshini cotton-silk saris targeted at youngsters.

Amritavarshini is a Carnatic raga that is believed to bring rain during extreme heat and the collection draws inspiration from the raga. The fabric is cotton silk, which is light, airy and comfortable. Woven with imagination, the range comes in stunning designs - block printed, embroidered and polka dots and mango motifs. Amritavarshini comes in different colour combinations. The range includes white and off-whites too, which are apt for summer. Available at prices ranging from Rs.900 onwards.

The showroom is located at No. 12, Nageswaran Road, Panagal Park, T. Nagar.
