Sharmila Taneja from Hyderabad presents an exhibition of block hand printed fabrics, saris, tops and kaftans at Vimonisha Gallery (12, Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam) today and tomorrow (January 10).

Her designs combine style and tradition to cater to the women of today. Each piece is first dyed, then printed with ethnic motifs and embellished with mirrors or embroidery.

The prices range from Rs. 600 to Rs.1,500.
